Went it again saterday! We haved to moove it in moore deep water... last time we had 16'' of ice and 18'' of water below the ice..but after the crazy cold week ice became 30-32''..so forget about the water below... now it's mooved and we got 6 feet below!

Try to catch something...but two days of rain(water was looking dirty) and very a cold drop down again! So..absolutly nothing bite! :(

Dang. havent seen a crowd on the ice like that in a while. must agree with Surf that the tipdown's look great. :thumb:

A crowd? you're only seeing a couple of shanty on those pics..this part have more than 150 on it..i'll gonna try to take large pic next time!

Witch one are you calling tipdown? red*white or the other? sorry..cause in french they're having the same name..it's Brimbales

Went to the shanty again today to moove it to shallow water for pike..but we finished late to all fix it..so only two attack missed.. and near us, a lot of pike have been iced 4 to 8 lbs..a 18lbs yesterday and some big one around are just cutting anyline around..So..look that we are now at the good spot! :beer:

Today was a great day but at same time it was a tragic day!

The tragic part is ..a portion of the ice several kilometers is detached, i never saw something so big stay in one piece..think about more than five kilometers..more than 25 shanty are gone with on the St-Lawrence river,,it's a shame!

Cost-guard was there with hoovers and helicopters! A very bad day!

I'm gonna finish my season here, on St-Augustin lake, because the shanty was remooved this evening at this place!
