Indian Lake 2009/2010

Postby networthy » Sat Dec 05, 2009 2:38 pm

The ice is getting closer. I have heard of skim ice in the channels and potential from a skim across the whole lake as early as tonight. I just bought a Marcum LX-5 and I am really itching to try it out.
If you're not out fishin, you're gettin out fished.

I can cofirm that there was 4 inches back behind Long Island on Saturday- 12 guys were out there fishing. About 3 inches on Sunday with the rain with a handful of fisherman. and one guy was only out about 10 feet from shore on about 2 inches of ice yesterday Monday. Good news in the temps are back down below or at freezing and will be for the next 10 days.
Thanks,
