Hello fellow stagnant posters. Funny how no one including myself, posts anything after ice out..I'd rather that than post about non-ice fishing material. Any who..although some say ice fishing is too far away to be excited- I still am.
I was raised in Michigan where I ice fished with a guy named Harry (Ficious Jigs.com) He taught me that the human body adapts to tempurature and that a good way to prepare for ice fishing season is commit to wearing T-Shirts in October. I have tried to stick to this and it is obvious the years that I don't that it absolutely works.
So if you miss walking on water and have already gone through your gear and organized it all. The next thing to do other than wait, is prepare.. experts say it's going to be extremely cold this winter...I say bring it on!
