get out and go fishing snowmobiles on the lake, this year I have found one hot spot that everyone else has found but I don't know if it is possible to fish out an area because each time I return to this area I catch less and less fish. I'm trying to figure out what these fish are doing and also trying to find a few other "honey" holes. I think that I will start to scout the lake to find those places that other people aren't fishing. Hopefully, this way I will be able to establish whether the fish are turned off by fishing pressure or some other factor such as wind, barometer, temp, sun, etc.. I will start posting my findings and attach as many of these factors as I can.
1/17/09
wind SW 10-20
pressure 30.30 falling
temp. 8 in am to 24deg F at 4pm
partly cloudy
fishing pressure very high
water clarity 2'
If you're not out fishin, you're gettin out fished.
