It's getting close!

Well with it being 1, yes 1 degrees outside this morning and watching the last of the waterfowl head south I'd say it's time for some good hard freezing.

I expect to be fishing pretty hard out here by Thanksgiving, maybe sooner!

My neighbor was ice fishing yesterday in N. Central North Dakota. About 5-6 inches of ice.

The small lakes got a bit brittle with the latest warm spell, I'd wait another week.

On a side note, did anyone else see the near 13 pounder that came out of Devils Lake just recently??? Maybe I should pull out the boat!
