Im getting jealous. I have to get out hunting soon!

The way I look @ it, it's free meat, all I have into it is time.

I know. I put my back out Oct 4th and Moose and deer season opened on the 6th. :(
Ive been recouperating for two weeks now. Last weekend we went out to the lake our huts are on and stayed the weekend to help the owner of the property to build a fence.(HAD to do it)
This weekend is our guys weekend at another local lake. 10-15 guys renting a huge cabin with an open concept bar in the middle of it. Bedrooms all around the outside. Two beer fridges etc, etc. We run an off shore derby...actually on shore fishing only, so we have a big fire by the lake and watch our lines while we drink WATER...lol.
So hopefully next weekend I can get out and do some hunting.

Congrats again...............jealous.

Nice Buck!
Congratulations to your son.
Ya gotta love the smile on that little girls face. 8) Involving your kids in the hunt and cleaning of your game, will teach them to appreciate where their food comes from.

Nice job IW. :)

Yesterday my son, his daughter & I took the deer head up to the taxidermist, I wish I had a camera to take pics of her eyes when she saw all the mounts they have hanging in their store. She has a lot to share @ show & tell in school today. My son has had her involved in hunting & fishing & ice fishing since she was 2 yrs. old & is doing the same w/his 3 yr. old.

That's the best place to shoot anything, right in the garden. Less dragging required.

I'm trying to catch that dang spikehorn who has been in my garden messing all my mulch up, but he only shows up when it's dark! Then I can have venison with oregano from the garden! :D
