the day was down right nasty rained and poured all day..I was one soaked puppy...but an hour before dark it quit and things started to happen.I passed on a really nice 8 point and 20 minutes before dark this dude steps out of the corn feild and heads my way. after being rained on all day long I thought to my self your going back to michigan with me.the mathews and the rage 3 blade did there trick. he didnt go 60 yards. heres the pic's.

corn is still standing..beans are just starting to get picked..its been a good year for crops..and the deer herd looks healthy.with the warm sept the harvest should go quick this year.

Mint buck. Nicely done. Hope to poke one pretty quick here. I've got the next week and a half off and I'll be in WI. Haven't got out much until lately ,shooting ducks with my daughter has kept me busy.
