bass water depth

were do bass feed ideally? top , bottum 10 feet of water? :poke:

Most of the bass we catch in the winter are deep. We've caught smallmouth in up to 70 feet of water! Even largemouth tend to be in the deeper sections of the lakes they inhabit. The bigger largemouth tend to hit at very first light too, it seems. -Jim

thank you very much i know pickeral usaully feed off bottum but didn't really know about bass.

I fish mainly for bass / Pickerel and we always look for drop offs and weedlines and I set my bait 18 inches to 24 inches off the bottom.
