1st day on the ice, 1st fish

Today I met up with my ice fishing friend to get out the ist time this year. It felt good to be standing on ice again. Jon was already set up when I got there, no sooner that I arrived he got a flag, when fishing for Tiger Muskies you get a lot of hit and spit flags.

Way to go IW! I was out in the cold all day myself. Unfortunately I was working. I am ready to see my first flag of the season flying.

Tigers are very elusive, the best day we ever had, was 3, I caught 2 one 36" and the other was 40", my son caught a 38". They sure are fun when you catch them, they do a lot of runs. That's the 40" Tiger in my Avitar picture
