Trailer Liscense requirement for Wheel Houses in MN

Postby Lars » Tue Dec 02, 2008 9:21 am

Does anyone know what the requirement is for a Wheel House in Minnesota this year, I have heard that the DNR is going to be ticketing on the ice for houses with wheels and no trailer or RV liscense, and then I have heard that the state patroll is not even going to ticket this year since it is a new law and even law enforcement isn't sure what rules apply. I have a friend who is a City Cop where we live and he said he wouldn't even consider writing a ticket for a fish house without a trailer liscense. Does any house with wheels require a liscense? If you have bunks do you need an RV Liscense? Do any other states require this?

Good question...how about if you turn an old camper or pop-up into a fish house? I have heard all you need is a license for it when on the lake

Hope someone has an answer
