First ice 2013

I'm going to look at some lakes around my house today to see what is going on i will post later what i see

I looked at the PA DNR Report and the lakes in Northeast PA have ice. I usually check the DNR report for Tobyhanna. If that has ice, then the Wayne County lakes I fish should be good. I may get out next week.

Iceman77 How did you make out in your search for ice? I am down route 81 towards pottsville and need to head north or west for ise thick enough to fish...any info would be greatly appreciated..thanks...I am building a portable shanty right now and ready to fish!

It was starting to be good then we had so warm days but now it should get better from here
I was on a pond not far from me on 01-06-13 and some guys where on Walkers lake at the low end
I will go back and look at walkers on 01-16-13 and post what i find we just got some snow today

We are going to have some cold days and nights here the way it looks next weekend should be good it may even be good this weekend i'm sure some guys will be on it this week but it's not very safe yet
