fished kearcher creek damn last saturday for the first time. liked what i saw, had most of the lake to our selfs, one guy fished in the morning and two other guys came out in the afternoon. caught 2 bass just shy of 15 inchs, 3 nice crappie and a few gills, missed something big off a tip up early, saw the flag go up and was right there within 20 secs, almost all the line was ripped off
very large shinner was missing.
the other guy that fished in the morning had a trout, 17 inch bass, 2 smaller bass, and a 14 inch crappie.
fished lake minsi (bangor) sunday. had 5 pickeral, 4 baby perch, 17 inch bass, and rounded out the day with a trout. most of the guys on the lake left early cause of windy conditions and slow fishing? dont know what we were doing right, but slow and steady pace in the morning and just enough to keep our attention in the afternoon but a heck of a lot better then anyone else we saw. only heard of 2 other small perch caught on the whole lake.
my buddy is going back up to minsi tomorrow, ill let you know how he does.
