Lake jean (Ricketts glen)

This lake has some big pickrel and alot of small perch it has about 6" of ice on at the beach area
here is a pic of pickrel the kids got this year

the lake still has some good ice even after the heat wave we had guys are get a good number of fish as well

lake jean has good ice as far as i know i hope to get up there as soon as i can

We made the trip today we had some flags go and got so small stuff it was good to get out somewhere it had 4" at the spot i was at

Are there Walleye in Lake Jean...I see on the PFC site it says it does but I know that doesn't always mean they are caught. Any info you have would be great...thinking of coming up there the first week of March.

I never got any but you never know it could be full of them
it has some nice pickrel and perch

i never heard of any being caught . there trout to i never got them either.

I was on today for awhile i did ok got some small stuff jigging and a nice pickrel on wax worms and large jig 4" from bottom
there where 4-5 other guys out but they all left after we got there
