crappie where abouts

Hey Hi! Does anyone know if there are crappie within 50 miles of the Mackinaw Bridge? There are small ones in Little Brevort Lake., but they are only 5-6 in. I`ve been on this earth fore 60 years and never caught one. Can anyone help ? i just need a lake with some of those buggers in it. It would be very much appreciated.
