St.Croix Crappies

Discuss fishing for black and white crappies through the ice. It's tough to beat a good school of crappies through hard water.

Nice crappies(10"-14") are being pulled out of the river by the Kinni, south of the I-94 bridge. If you head there be extra careful, talk to someone who has a clue before heading out, crappies aren't worth falling in. I will guide for a small fee, send private message if interested.
BAYPORT:Five trips out caught some nice fish but two of the days they were really slow . If you go out stick to the trails there is open water. Alot of houses are arriving ,word is out that fish are there and they're pretty nice.

Over the cold snap we were hammering crappies a little north by the King plant. That -35 wind chill day was the best day, we've had. It slowed as it warmed but still producing.
