Have any of ever tried these for crappie?

I have a friend that fishes with a Hali's all the time and he just nails the crappies. He moves around on the ice alot so we call him Scout and he'll catch crappie using his Hali and a wax worm. There are other tricks that we have but if I shared everything with you then I might as well write for a magazine. But we always have fun out fishing the locals whereever we go.
