where to fish

Hey everyone im fishing long pond in Belgrade Maine tomorrow the cove is frozen solid. Cant figure out how to catch salmon Sooo im trying to go for pike. The cove has depths up to 40 feet with no real underwater structure but there are weeds in shallow. Sooo my question is where do I fish for them and sometimes plz

I am not a pike fisherman, but given that there is no underwater structure, go on the outsides of the weeds. The pike will cruise right along looking for fish to feed on. Maybe above the weeds would work too.

X2 pike are always trolling the weed lines looking for an easy meal. Identify the outside edge of the weeds and set a string of tip ups. If you don't get any action try deeper and shallower until you get a pattern down. Good luck post pics if you get some.

Fish near the bottom but remember fish feed upwards.
