ice fishing in wny

i am new to ice fishing and live in western new york. there are plenty of pike in surrounding ponds and was wondering if i can catch them ice fishing the same as during spring and summer. i would greatly appreciate any response. the ponds average 8-12 foot of depth

yes they are fun to catch. I use tip-ups with minnows work the best for me. Check your local laws first
