pike jigs?

pike jigs?

I have always used tip ups for pike but i want to start using a diddle rod for them so what do u think is the best pike luer to use?

i like med sized spoons..daredevil 5 diamonds yellow with black diamonds. forged minnows that rattle. or if you can find it, a large glow jig. i tip mine with some fresh bloody fish meat. perch or gill. sucker meat works good too.

I like the large (size W-5 or larger) Rapala jigging lure in firetiger color. Just allow it to sit for seemingly too long a time, now and then. Pike like to strike when the bait is at a standstill, often. Good luck. -Jim

swedish pimples with minnow chunks or another jigging spoon. or jigging rapalas

^^^ those are my top 3,daredevils,sweedish pimples,and i think the rapala is the all time favorite.(the bigger the better) i tip em all with a half minnow
it didnt smell like that when i ate it
