new pike rig

i dont use tip ups, so i have started using this system. i put may big pole in a pole holder and set the drag lite. then i put my live perch at the depth i want it on a spoon or cast master. i hook it behind the fin. i use 50 lbs spider wire and steel leaders. then just off the tip of my pole i put a bright bobber that i can see well. when a pike takes the perch the drag allows the bobber too go down into the water and i know i got one on. any feedback on this is welcome! it has worked well so far. I AM TRYING TOO ADD A ATTACHMENT TOO THIS POST AND IT IS GIVING ME A HARD TIME. THE PIC IS STORED IN MY DOCUMENTS, WHEN I TRY TOO UP LOAD IT IT SAYS the extension is not allowed. so here is a pic of a pike from april. it did let me attach
