Fishing on MLK Day

Postby pail tail » Mon Jan 21, 2013 6:04 pm

Took my son out for a couple hours today we managed 8 crappies, one pick and a number of misses. All on tip ups about three feet under the ice in 8-9 Ft. of water using small red fins.

Way to go Pailtail!

How old is your son? (Just trying to get the mental image.....I'm seeing a 12 y.o. chasing flags! :D )

Since it's a holiday, I won't even give you guff about not having pictures. :poke:

p.s. redfins are my favorites!

He's eleven and not crazy about fishing (has to pull his weight) but he did pull one in. His mom is mad ! She never gets more than one or two crappie when she goes with us . We fished from 12:30to 2:30 so not to bad a day.

Oh, I had the right mental image of the age! :D

You'll notice, in time, that I don't post many pictures.....because I don't catch a lot of fish lol.
Don't listen to me giving you a hard time.

I now have the pics on face book . They are on the barber shop page where I work (I'm a barber) just look up A Corner Barber Shop on face book to see them. I still can not seem to find an easy way to post them here .
