Been out a few times and the ice was sketchy for most of them. life jackets, pick's. and spudding/drilling the whole way. a few perch and a few small waleye and one lil pike. this weathe may get rid of the slush and water on the ice and hopefully make them all one good piece of ice. lets hope so anyways. :thumb:

seen some people on Hunns, Upton in dutchess and some on white pond in put county. seen other lakes with no people . That was last week. now I think I'll plant tomatos on my new sled and use my poles as flag poles.

Got a new hut that weighs about 360 lbs. the Ice up here now is 6-7 inches and much improved in quality since the melt and refreeze
I see some walkers on the lake but no sleds or 4-wheelers yet. What is a good depth of ice for my shanty? ( no snow to speak of and it's on steel runners so I think we can just push it on without the 4 wheeler)
