May 1. 2010 Open Crappie Tourney
Saratoga Lake - South Shore Marina
$50 Entry Fee - Team or Singleman - 10 Fish Limit
Boat launch order determined by:
[1] Date of postmarked paid entry or
[2] time of registration @ launch 5:30 a.m. - 6:30 a.m.
Earliest date to mail entries is 2/25/2010


OFFICIAL RULES AND ENTRY FORM
Acceptable species – Black or White Crappie
1.
2. Total weight of any 10 fish combination per boat.
3. Live bait is allowed.
4. Maximum of 2 rods per angler allowed in the water at one time.
5. There will be no dead fish penalty..
6. Boats must have all required safety equipment mandated by the US Coast Guard. (fire extinguisher,
horn, lights etc.)
7. All boats equipped with emergency shut-off switches, must have them in working order, and in use
whenever the gas motor is running.
8. Life vests must be worn any time gas motor is running.
9. All teams must check in with the official time keeper when they return to the weigh in. His watch is the
official time. Failure to due so will result in disqualification of team. There will be a late penalty of 1 lb.
per minute--and disqualification after 15 minutes.
10. Any protests must be filed by the end of the official weigh-in.
11. All decisions by the tournament officials are final.
12. No alcoholic beverages or drugs allowed on boats during the tournament. Also, no alcoholic beverages
permitted in the immediate area of the official weigh-in.
13. Please be courteous to your fellow competitors, and the fishing and boating public. 50 feet is to be
allowed from any anchored boat. Only the highest degree of sportsmanship will be tolerated.
14. The tournament officials reserve the right to administer a polygraph test if it is determined to be in the
best interest of the tournament. Failure to take this test if requested will result in disqualification.
15. The Adirondack Bass Club, its members and the marina conducting the tournament, are not responsible
for any injuries, death, or damage to, or done by the boats participating.
16. All boats are required to have a minimum of $100, 000 liability insurance. Proof of insurance will be
required to be on hand in the boat. Random checking will occur on morning of tourney.
