Ron, first, the photo must already be stored somewhere online, usually at an online photo posting website like www.Photobucket.com, or www.hunt101.com, etc. They are usually free to join. Once the photos are downloaded to a site, then you take either the URL address of that photo or the actual "image code" , "copy" it and then "paste" it into the IMG space on your post. Once you "copy" a photos image code you can also just hit Ctrl and the V key at the same time. This will insert it also. There's really no "layman's terms" to express what must be done, as the terms are specific and an integral part of both the photo website and each post at a specific forum topic. -Jim

Thanks Jim but thats beyond my capabilties and effort to be blunt. All the other forums Im on just have you put the location of the picture from where it is on your computer and bingo its done. Maybe someday they will make this site as simple. Until then I will just stick to words but thanks again.

For all I know that may work here too! If so, just copy the location of the photo and then "paste" in between the IMG icons on the posting screen. Just place the first IMG icon before the location and another after. Not sure if it'll work or not?

Note the lack of fish pics... this is for a reason. These pics are from 2003. When I started out, I really had no clue what I was doing (not that I do now).

Narrower format

Jim,

Why narrower? They look fine on my screen and the files aren't that large (<100K) ? In case I post pictures in the future.

The photos in view now are just fine. Some had to be downsized from their original size. -Jim

Those are nice perch, to be sure. And not to start a war, but the inside dimension (across) of a five-gallon pail is only 11 inches, so I'd guess the largest fish in the one photo is no more than maybe 10 inches or so? -Jim

LOL, guess they can't be all 12 inchers. Wouldn't want to ruin the genetics of the perch population by just keepin the biggest ones. Actually, I prefer the ones around 8-9 inches for eating.
