Anybody been out to try for perch/trout?

Was out mid january, and caught a couple small perch. No keepers that day.

Have been out a few times during the week, alot of perch no rainbows yet, no keepers all to small 6-8 in. A great little lake that is good to practice on and have fun, take kids and older people. Please....... if you go there practice catch and release. So many times I have gone there and guys are keeping 6-8 in perch and 10in rainbows. People don't be greety, tell someone, protect this good little fishery for the kids.

If you want to go out for some fun and take your kids fishing take them here but please teach them how to catch and release. From what I have heard this year its been tough to find perch, if we keep taking small ones...... forget about it. I have had good luck with a teardrop, wireworm, etc green/orange/yellow colors work for me with a maggott, for some reason they won't take worms. Try the west side its the best. Good Luck and Enjoy

was out a few times this winter couldn't fint bigger perch just small ones. but second week in feb nailed alot of trout about 12 to 14 inches
