This tourney is in Memory Of a Friend that died in a car accident two weeks before graduating from college.
So now we put on this derby in Memory of Joshua Paul Snyder.We have scholarship that the proceeds go to.
That is how it came about.
The Tourney starts at Midnight Feb 23rd and ends at 5pm Feb 23rd. Cheshire Reservoirs{All Three Lakes}
All weigh ins on the ice. Fish must be alive for weigh in.

Heaviest 3 fish for each category.

After the fishing we have a outstanding meal at the PNA hall in Adams. Where we hand out fish prizes and the numerous amounts of Chinese raffle prizes. We also give a grand prize of a 10' Eskimo Shark Power Auger Away. This is all comes with the one ticket.
All for $20. Everyone seems to really enjoy it.

Rules:
1. All fish checked in must be ALIVE – a water filled cooler or bucket is recommended
2. Fish will be released by judges
3. Winning bass will be determined by weight, tie breaker by length
4. Winning pickerel will be by length, tie breaker by weight
5. Winning perch will be by length tie breaker by weight
6. Derby hours- 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
7. Prizes will be awarded at the clubhouse, 252 Wood St. (Rt 135), Woodville, at 2:00 pm
8. No drilling holes before 7:00 am
9. All local and state fishing regulations will apply
10. Entrant must have valid Mass fishing license
11. Lake Whitehall fish only
12. No entrants accepted after 9:00 am the day of the derby
Judges table will be located at the Wood Street boat ramp area
Derby updates will be broadcast on FRS radio channel 1, code zero, every hour, on the hour
Registration can be done at the clubhouse or mail a completed form, with payment to:

Last derby there were 95 entrants, the first place prizes was rounded up to $400.00!!!!!!!!!!!
A total of $1500 in prize monies were awarded!!!!

Quaboag high school football committee is having one at Lake Wickaboag on 2/23. Tickets at the beach.

Quaboag High School Football Committee, the nonprofit that is raising funds for the new Quaboag High School Football Team. Their derby is 2/23 on Lake Wickaboag in West Brookfield, MA from 7 a to 3 p. I think the tickets are $10 and there are raffles plus prizes for biggest fish. They will be selling tickets at the West Brookfield Town Beach which, going East on Rt. 9, is a right at the light downtown, just after the Town Hall/Police Station. The Town Beach is about a 3/4 mile down the road on the left.

Derby tomorrow on Quaboag Pond in Brookfield for Flexcom. Derby next Sat 7-2:30 on Lake Wickaboag in West Brookfield for the Quaboag High School football committee. I think next Sunday is the new date of the Lake Lashaway Derby in East Brookfield.

Klem's is sponsoring a fishing derby on Sunday February 7th on Quaboag/South pond.Brookfield Mass. It is from 7am - 3pm. $15 entry fee. 100% payout.
Five catagories:

Check in is from 6am-12pm. Parking available in Memorial Beach parking lot

Klem's in Spencer, Ma is hosting it's 3rd derby on February 7th, 2010.
From 7am to 2pm, Quaboag/North Pond. $15 entry fee. 100% pay back (cash, gift certificates). All first place winners will also receive a coupon for a Carharrt Coverall (style x01). All 20 finishers will also receive a leather wallet from Carharrt.
Pure fishing, Grizz Baits, 40-UP tackle, Plano and others have furnished prizes.
Tickets can be purchased at Klem's sports dept. during normal business hours, Norms Shiner Shack, or on the ice the day of the derby.
Last year we had 162 entries.
