Lake Aeroflex This Weekend And Hopatcong Tourney

Ice should be awesome this weekend. Want to hit Lake Aeroflex in Andover. Took my son and his friend to Cranbury Lake 2 weeks ago........4-5 inches of ice... ....only safe place. Got skunked, but it was a beautiful day!

Anymore info. about the tournament at Hopatcong this weekend?

The past 2 weekends I went locally. 2 weeks ago at Mt. Hope Pond we caught 7 nice Pickeral and 6-7 perch-tiny to 13". Ice was about 4". The biggest Pickeral was 25" and all but (1-16") were 20"-24." No bites on power bait. The trout were quiet.

Last Saturday went to White Meadow Lake and hooked a 10" perch, 11" crappie and 2 small largemouths (12"). Ice was about 3-5" in most places. One spot only about a 1/2". Had 6 or 7 other bites but no hooks!!!

I fished Mt.Hope Pond on the road side about a week ago . Jigging/tipups I cought 5 jumbo perch and a mess of pickeral.[/b]
