Fishing on a pond I found

I found this pond on google maps and wanted to see if it was frozen today. I went out with 2 of my friends and to my surprise their is almost 6 inches on this pond. It is fairly small only about 25 acres and I am fishing it tomorrow. I was hoping to keep it a secret spot for me and my friends but someone was their a few hours before us and cut 5 or 6 holes in different places to check thickness, and their was some blood on the ice so i'm assuming he caught something.
