Clam Tundra Shack

Postby schlosser65 » Sat Dec 21, 2013 3:55 pm

Hi ice-anglers,

We just bought a clam tundra (two man) and after setting up the frame we noticed that in the folded back position (because it is a flip over) the bars still sit fairly high, I would say 1 1/2 feet from the top of the sled. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice if they would all sit flat together when the shanty is fully laid back.

Has anybody had a problem like this, I think we are going to try to extend one of the braces so that they can lay more flat.

If anyone has had this problem and fixed it, let me know.

Good luck on the ice

Sam

Welcome! Did it sit flat before you put the tarp on? Are the screws overly tight? Did you put the right bars on the right slots? I've put a few together and have never had issues like that. Just trying to think of what could be going on. Any pictures?
