Pro Com ice house heater????

I am looking at getting the Pro Com ice house heater from northern tool for my new shack. They claim s is thermostatically controlled and can run off a 20lb lp tank. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with one and if so how did they like it? Thanks.

Hey DMCS

I run a Feature Comforts Blue Flame heater. I went with the 30,000 btu heater in my hut for the first two seasons but found it to be too much for the hut. This season I picked on up Same make Feature comforts just in the 10,000 btu model.
Way better! I can actually set the thermostat and leave it alone.
Here is a picture of the 30.000 and the 10,000 after I replaced it.



Note the size difference, foot marks on the floor.



Love the consistent and instant heat. I do run it off of a 100lb tank and with the 30,000btu it lasted all year. Im sure with the 10,000btu heater It should last a bit longer.

Thanks rick. now i have something to think about other than the rebuild. I will definatly keep in mind the number of btu's the heaters put out.

I picked up both of them off of ebay.
Paid 80 bucks for the 10,000btu.
