Wow! I would be afraid to be on a river on the ice.....this is why!

You're safe, is everyone else safe? I hope nobody was hurt.....or worse.

Wow!

As I tried to read, and was able to translate "ice", "on", "with", and words like that, my daughter came down to help me.

She didn't know all the words either, but it looks like people were asked to leave before it got that bad?

Steven, I may have missed this from before, but being old is bad for the memory!....what are you fishing for when not for pike? And what is the difference in where you fish? Do you fish for pike closer to shore?

Exactly...in two feet of water for pike... and for walleye, we have to go far away, maybe 1mile of the shore to have 6-7 feet of water! The broken ice part, was two miles width..over that, it's the free water to let the transport boat pass threw the river!

Last year,,we both at 6 buddies our shanty(cost less each)

This season, for 5-6 new buddies of my fishingboard, i found someone who just give away a 12 by 10 shed...We just have to take it like it is! It's FREE!

They have to resize a side to 8 feet(to be ok for the max size on the road) add a couple windows and just mount back the plastic finition and it's done!

For 75$! we founded THE HEATER! :wow:

So we'll be tho shanty together at our place on the St-Laurent river for the nex season!

What a sight that must have been! I would have been very excited if I saw a shack on a flatbed when it isn't winter!

I agree with Rick, we will need pictures of the progress!

Hi Gang! Long time i wrote!

Everything is welldone and ready to start to use!

Got to lift the roof to be able to unmount a side wall to cut the floor
at the good size for the road, and mount back the wall , also cut a part
of the roof! Add windows and work inside!
