good ice

made my first maiden voyage yesterday with Craig..had the lake all to our self's. and the bite was on. spudded our way out to 36 foot of water on un disclosed lake big body of water. .she's solid 4 1/2 to 5 of not so good ice really frozen slush with about 2 inches of black ice. so BE Careful out there.. after next week with the deep freeze coming things should be OK. took 11 gills all around 8 to 8 1/2 and the rest were slab specks. Craig limited out as well. it's on..next trip sag bay here I come..Tight lines and stay dry..I did here of a Friend going through last week up on Hardy .....

Good trip! I got to see a bunch of people get wet the other day because they weren't checking the ice walking on! 100 yards down the shore they would have been high and dry!

When you comin doc? Its on for both perch and eyes over here. Both sleds are good to go minus registration for one. Let me know.
