Fished the south east end of the silo's on 1/6/08 caught five nice rainbows and threw three smaller ones back. Fished from 10 am until noon. Crappie hooks with maggots. Water was only about four foot deep.

I have fished for ling on Canyon Ferry numerous times.....You catch them at night in deep water....30 feet I'd guess. We would use worms, off the bottom. What worked best was when you could catch a sucker through the ice, and use that for bait. Nothing like fresh sucker meat....it's a ling cod's wet dream. I usually fished out at Confederate Gulch. There is good structure there and the water depth drops fast. Having a good fish finder helps to find the big drops. That's where to fish.....where it gets deep fast.

Don't forget...FISH AT NIGHT! So bring the fireworks and the Jager...you're gonna need 'em!

Fished the Silo's on Saturday 1/19/07. Pretty slow, only got one trout and only had two bites.
