Just moved to the Milwaukee area....

I just moved to Franklin and was wondering if anybody can get me started on some local lakes to fish once the ice gets here. I am willing to travel to any lakes within an hour to give them a shot (looks like there are a lot of lakes in the area). I mostly target panfish (bluegill, crappie, perch) but would also be interested in walleye. Not looking for exact hot spots just some lakes to try.

All and any info given is appreciated.

I fished lake delavan last year in a tournament and it was alot of fun, lots of fish. The fish were all in shallow water, lots of fun in a shanty to look down the hole, the water is super clear you will see everything.

For some guaranteed pike/bass/perch fun you should try out Little Muskego. I don't fish much to keep fish for dinner (unless my family wants some), but I get out there to spend the day and have some fun.

The perch range from 4" - 8" regularly, but I just sit and catch those in between my tip up flags popping. Basically I make it so the whole day is constant action.

I just moved to west allis. Does anyone know of any lakes or even ponds I can go to around here. Any info will be appreciated.
