Ice reports

Just was wondering if anyone has been on the ice the last day or so. Drove past Summit today and not much snow on most of the ice. Looks like we have a couple of inches of white ice on top and maybe a couple of inches of clear ice under it but did not have my auger with just chipped at it a while.

not sure but will let you know going out on some ponds here in lancaster county to try for some blue gills and crappie.

Got out on some ponds and there was any where from 8 to 10 " of ice, we ended up catching a bucket of blue gills. So all in all a good start to the hard water season.
