I came buy an unusual item that may be a homemade ice fishing automatic jigger. Can anyone help me know what this is? I am not a fisherman and can not find any similar items with my internet searches. Thanks for the help!!![album][/album]

Wow, What a great find.
Iv'e never seen one that old. Dose it hang off the wall or sit on the ice?
Does it work still?

That is a great score, I've only seen one of those over the years and it was in the Fishing Museum in Little Falls Minnesota. Here is a link to it, they may have more info on it,

Wow! I've seen one before my great grandfather who thought me most of my fishing skills ( the rest came from Surf!) has one and it stay up at his camp on a small island on Moosehead Lake. Great find!
Tight lines,
