drill tones of holes and check them with your flasher.. when you find fish suspended unusually high see if you can get them to bite... seems easy but it can be tricky.

I think you will find more fishing during day afternoon time close to surface or at the bottom where temperature is 4degree or higher so they can survive cold weather
