pike jigs?

I have always used tip ups for pike but i want to start using a diddle rod for them so what do u think is the best pike luer to use?

i like med sized spoons..daredevil 5 diamonds yellow with black diamonds. forged minnows that rattle. or if you can find it, a large glow jig. i tip mine with some fresh bloody fish meat. perch or gill. sucker meat works good too.
