Where is the best place to Ice Fish?

Myself and a group of friends are looking to go on an Ice Fishing trip. The ideal place for us includes:

1. Great Fishing – we are looking for volume in our catches, rarity is not a major concern. We are looking for excitement so volume and a good fight on the rod is what I have in mind.
2. Good Nightlife – our group consists of recent college graduates who like to go out and have a drink or two. So where we fish needs to be in a town that has some good local bars/pool halls where we can get a good bite to eat, too many drinks and enjoy bar games/jukebox.
3. Close Proximity to a Major Airport – most of us are from Texas but a few are in New York, Philly and Atlanta so distance to/from a major airport is fairly necessary.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I know the above criteria are tough to combine…any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Night life can be found in Burlington, or pretty much any where along RT7.

Either of those your going to need to rent car/snowmobile if your coming from Texas.
